Welcome to 1433 Roots (Fourteen Thirtythree) — a name that carries a legacy woven through the generations of my family. This facility is more than just a place to train and play; it’s a tribute to the people who have shaped my life, and a way for me to give back to the community that has supported me every step of the way.
The number 33 has always represented my dad. In every game and every season, he wore that number with pride, and it became a symbol of strength and resilience for our family. 14 is my number, one that holds the spirit of two men who had a profound influence on me: my papa and my uncle Kamanu. I combined their numbers — my uncle’s 2 and my papa’s 7 — and created 14 as a way to carry their legacies with me.
Together, 33 minus 14 make 19 — a number that has become meaningful to my sisters and our family. Each of these numbers isn’t just about family ties; they are symbols of our journey, values, and the unity we share. They remind me of the many hands and hearts that have guided me and continue to guide this dream.

FAQS
Can I bring my own equipment?
Yes, you’re welcome to bring your own bats and helmets. We also provide equipment if needed.
How many people can use the cage at once?
Each cage is designed for up to 4 participants at a time. Additional participants may be allowed for a small fee.
Do you host team practices or private lessons?
Yes, we can accommodate team practices, private lessons, and small groups. Small groups are offered on Sunday ONLY first come, first serve basis. Coaches are also welcome to rent the facility for their sessions. Text/Call us for more information
What is Small Group Training?
Small Group training consist of 6 athletes per time slot. We focus on basics for Hitting, Fielding, Pitching & Catching. Having a small group allows more reps and a better chance to build the muscle memory and confidence they need on the field.
Are you open on Sundays?
Sunday's are reserved for Small Groups. We will be opening on Sundays in the near future.
Do you sell Sporting Equipment?
At this point in time we only have bat grips for sale. We are looking into bringing in more equipment in the near future.
